Piano Cover: Between the Raindrops

I had to take a moment and share this artist’s awesome instrumental cover of “Between the Raindrops” by Lifehouse, featuring Natasha Bedingfield. It’s one of my more recent discoveries and has been excellent music to write to. Hope you enjoy, and don’t forget to check out Ben Samples’ channel on YouTube.

Also, before I go I want to say that blog updates will probably be sparse this month, and that National Novel Writing Month is definitely a no-go. An unforeseen life issue dropped on me today, and to be honest I’ve just got too much on my plate right now to worry about reaching 50,000 words in a month. Wish things had turned out differently, but that’s life for you. I want to wish everyone participating in NaNoWriMo lots of writing vibes!

  1. Thanks for sharing some great music with your readers, and all the best in tackling life's issues that may spring upon us from time to time. Admire your courage for even contemplating the 50,000 word challenge, because some of, ahem-like me, aren't even daring enough to try yet. Someday though.

  2. To my utter shock, I actually reached 50,000 in 2008 (that's how Epiphany began). I really wanted to get there again, and get a jumpstart on the second book of the series, but it's not happening this year. Maybe your someday will be next year. Can't know until you try. I'm not giving up writing completely this month, just gotta take out some stress somewhere before I pull out my hair.

    Thanks for stopping by. 🙂

  3. Congratulations on your successful completion of the 50,000 words in 2008, not exactly an easy challenge, so way to go! Thanks for the encouragement @ my possible completion of such an amazing feat next year. Stopped by in hopes of catching up with your “Six Sentence Sunday” teaser series. <=== anything new in the works? Save your locks and hope to see you back in writing form soon enough.
